Definitions

Agile Project Management

Agile Project Management is a methodology that emphasizes iterative development, these characteristics include where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing (or say self-managing) and cross-functional teams.

The beauty of the Agile Project Management methodology is that it promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early and constant delivery, and continual improvement, all with a focus on customer outcomes.

Adaptive Project Management

Conversely, Adaptive Project Management, is a more fluid and flexible approach that allows for greater responsiveness to change and more flexibility on outcomes.

Unlike Agility, Adaptive Project Management is not tied to a specific framework. Instead, Adaptive Project Management focuses on adapting the project’s direction and execution as new information and situations arise.
