With what felt like the longest yet simultaneously shortest year to date, we look back at our 2020 journey through our lenses.

From very early on in the year we faced an unprecedented situation that called for quick thinking, actions, and adaptability and we did just that.

Our number one priority was the health and safety of our people and aiding in the prevention of the further spread of the virus. This saw us migrating over 300 professionals within a span of 2 weeks to fully remote working conditions, with the least possible unsettlement caused as we do not fear the new but we embrace change as it comes and as such we are quick to adapt.

Under the new fully remote conditions, we introduced virtual onboarding sessions, courses and training sessions and even events using new tools and platforms. Searching and experimenting with apps that could better our virtual experience has definitely been an adventure!

New internal projects were birthed, implemented and integrated into our daily norm. Our bespoke continuous feedback model took life during 2020 and has already seen numerous professionals taking the driver’s seat in their development and growth.

Wellness projects in different forms were promoted throughout the year in order to ensure a support system for our people and their mental and physical wellbeing.

Our daily environment may have changed but our goals did not. Our team remained resilient and continued to deliver results and quality, through great teamwork. We also created our QuaranTeam Playbook to support our goal “work remotely, stay together”.

The Playbook which focuses on 2 main aspects, Wellbeing and Staying a Team, provides our people with tips and guidelines on wellbeing, both physical and mental, as well as how to stay eliminate the distance that could be created during these times within teams and how to keep our productivity high.

Weekly dropins began from the very beginning, ensuring that connections are not lost and providing a platform for our people to share updates on their projects and talk about issues or concerns.

Coaching sessions were more relevant than ever, providing support and empowering a professional at a time to remain on the path of their personal development plan and keep evolving.

We were able to limit disruptions that could affect our teams which grew within our customers by representing and promoting our values and gaining the customers’ trust. Our Teams thrived, by keeping their productivity high and delivering great quality results.

Our 2020 also saw the onboarding of over 75 new professionals, new collaborations with local and international affiliates, recognition of 2 of our core practices, our coaching Model and our continuous Feedback model, over 100 virtual courses conducted and a prominent presence and active involvement within different technological communities.

The sure thing is that together we remained resilient and with our Agile Actor’s vision, we can see clear skies ahead, hoping for a safe and healthy future.

Happy Holidays from the Agile Actors!
