At Agile Actors, we invest in people that invest in their most valuable product-themselves. From the moment a professional is onboarded they are instantly immersed in a learning ecosystem that encourages, drives and supports continuous growth and development.

Our Coaching Model is such that every professional of all seniorities, from Junior to Principal, start planning their Personal Development Plan (PDP) almost immediately with the help and guidance of their assigned coach, by setting objectives and key results.

So how does this learning cycle begin?

Set attainable short term goals!

Growth and more importantly continuous growth is not a sprint but a marathon made up of multiple sprints. By focusing on achieving small goals at a time within a predefined and usually short period, we are able to accomplish more and keep our morale high. We identify specific targets that will help us in the immediate future in our personal and professional development.

Tools and Resources that help us reach our goals!

Once an attainable short term goal has been set, we have the full support of our coach and the ecosystem in general in order to accomplish it. For that we have access to more than 15 e-learning platforms and available content that can be found in our internal “knowledge library” from all of our Chapters (our internal communities that focus on their respective technologies and professionals), as well as courses, attending a conference or summit or taking an exam and acquiring a certification. Whatever the knowledge source may be, if it coincides with our PDP it will always be made available.

We don’t hold back!

We go for it with no restraints! Our culture is one of trust where failure is not feared; it is a learning tool and we remain resilient through ups and downs. Even if we make mistakes and do not achieve it on the first try we don’t give up until we have succeeded.

Set a new goal over and over and over and over and over again…

So what do we do when we have completed the task/course/exam/project? We go on to the next and the next after and the next after that! That is what continuous growth is, achieving our goals one sprint at a time and moving forward to learn new things and gain more experience and knowledge.

Over the past year alone, more than half of our 350 professionals applied for learning events of which 100% were approved! Our professionals participated in over 70 courses in both soft and tech skills, attended various international and domestic conferences and summits and acquired certifications across different technologies. All the while we counted a staggering 8000 coaching hours, successfully completed 3 coaching courses and birthed 70 new coaches that grew to take on new professionals and contribute back to the ecosystem.
