Intel, Microsoft, Qualcomm, and AMD have been championing the concept of an “AI PC” for several months now, anticipating the integration of more AI-powered features into Windows. While we eagerly await further details from Microsoft regarding its ambitious AI plans for Windows, Intel has taken the initiative to share Microsoft’s requirements with OEMs for constructing an AI PC. Microsoft is urging its OEM partners to deliver a comprehensive blend of hardware and software to bring its vision of an AI PC to life. Additionally, OEMs are required to incorporate the new Copilot key introduced by Microsoft earlier this year.

In this latest development, Davuluri will now oversee both the Windows and Surface divisions, as Parakhin has opted to pursue new opportunities.
