“A company can’t will itself to be agile. Agility is an emergent property that appears when an organization has the right mindset, the right skills, and the ability to multiply those skills through collaboration. To count agility as a core competence, you have to embed it into the culture.”

- Marty Neumeier, The Designful Company, Design Thinking

Embracing agility goes beyond mere frameworks or process obsessions. It’s not about just following a set path but about fostering the right mindset and skills and enabling collaboration that multiplies individual capabilities. Agility becomes a core competence when it’s seamlessly embedded into the fabric of our corporate culture.

While frameworks and processes are crucial, they are not the sole keys to agility. Navigating this transformative journey requires us to acknowledge that agility is not about chasing a methodology but about embracing a cultural shift. Let’s avoid the trap of merely chasing agility with processes; instead, let’s boldly nurture it within every aspect of our organization.
