LinkedIn is like a 24/7 networking event that is available at your fingertips. This professional social network is an easy way to search and connect with people all over the world.

LinkedIn makes it easy to grow your network. Users can write and share articles, make recommendations, endorse others, join groups, comment, the possibilities are endless. LinkedIn is one of the most powerful sites for your professional life. Having a strong LinkedIn profile allows you to brand yourself, let’s potential connections learn more about you, and allows you to do your own research.

Say you apply for a job, and a hiring manager or recruiter wants to do some more research on you. They’ll probably head over to LinkedIn. Ask yourself, what do you want them to see? If you don’t showcase your strengths, nobody else will. Having a professional presence on LinkedIn can help you in the long run by making it easy for a company to learn about all the great things you have to offer;

LinkedIn is a useful tool for those who already have a job, but is also a great tool for students and job seekers all over the world!

There are endless interest and professional groups on LinkedIn. These are a great place to connect with like minded individuals. In these groups, people can share thoughts, ask for advice, and discuss anything. You can join up to 50 groups and this is a great way to grow outside your existing network. You also have the option to start your own group!

Not only will these groups expose you to new news and ideas, but you will have the chance to engage and demonstrate your expertise through comments and discussions.

whether it’s through a group or just your feed, LinkedIn can allow you to stay on top of news and industry trends. Your feed is based on on your industry, network and interests. users also have the option to customize how news is displayed and choose what types of content they are interested in. This means the content you see is directly applicable to you.

LinkedIn is also a great way to learn more about a company you are interested in. On a company page, you can learn more about what the company does, their values and culture, open jobs, and apply. Users also have the opportunity to see if they have any connections who work at the company who they could possibly reach out to for get some more information.
