Agnikul’s mission is to provide on-demand space access anywhere, anytime and affordably. True to that spirit, we have now been listed on HOSTmi — a standardized and digital requirements management and matchmaking platform between space payloads and payload hosts. HOSTmi is supported by the European Space Agency to make it easy for European customers to have on-demand access to space.

HOSTmi offers hosting services (suborbital to deep space) through a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) approach where they create new means to neutrally serve both demand and supply side in the launch services market by handy facilitation of the matchmaking process between clients and suppliers. Clients can use search criteria to define requirements relating to both the space experiment or payload and the flight opportunity in detail.

Agnikul builds launch vehicles that can take up to 100 kgs to Low Earth Orbits. Agnikul’s mini launch vehicle — Agnibaan — is propelled by single piece, 3d printed LOX/Kero engines. Agnibaan’s design allows for launch access anywhere, anytime with a completely modular approach to configuring a launch vehicle.

This will allow flat pricing across multiple payload masses and will enable assembly of the entire launch vehicle within a 2 week time frame.

This partnership has taken us a step forward in establishing our vehicle as a “Made in India, for the world” solution. We are glad to be partnering with HOSTmi as this is strengthening our customer access in Europe while simultaneously helping us put indigenously developed Indian space tech on the world map.

Getting to space shouldn't be the hardest part of working from or living in space. So, we are out to build an orbital class launch vehicle.
