To participate in an election with Agora, voters and election auditors are required to submit a KYC and prove their ID, this data is never known nor held by Agora. Instead Agora chooses to use multiple ethical and trustworthy third party providers. Our team would like to announce a new partnership with Synaps, a simple, secure and reusable KYC platform. With just a few clicks, users are able to easily and securely set permissions, revoke and manage their KYC data.
Traditional KYC is siloed within the institutions, in the legacy financial system. In the Blockchain space, users are currently sending their personal information to multiple projects and platforms with no promise of security or privacy.
