App Annie ranks aawaz on top for Hindi podcast
Why do we crave external validation? too deep a question.
But when your podcast app ranks at number one, and even above the Google Podcast, an app from the God of search, it is a moment to reckon and write a blog post.
aawaz was launched in Jan 2019, and in six months, we have come a long way in creating audio shows, podcasts, celebrity interviews, devotional shows, short and long stories, Hindi rap, and more.
As i write this today, there’s over 250 hours of Hindi audio and spoken-word content available on aawaz app. There’s also 2000 plus articles to read.
That’s all folks, getting back to work now, to create a world class OTT in audio, in Hindi, a language spoken by half billion people.
