AgroCenta Partners with Northern Regional Branch of GPRTU

AgroCenta Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) on 4th October 2016.

The MOU seeks to outline a partnership agreement between AgroCenta and GPRTU Northern Regional Branch, where the latter will supply on-demand trucks and logistics services to AgroCenta to fulfil its proprietary TruckR solution.

TruckR is an on-demand trucks and logistics services to enable smallholder farmers access truck delivery services to convey their commodities from farms/warehouses to market places for sale.

By ensuring effective and timely distribution of commodities across the country, AgroCenta ensures equal and fair distribution of comodities to prevent food glut and enhance food security in the country.

Mr Richard Asuo Monyiane, who is the Regional Manager for AgroCenta in the Northern Region is optimistic that this partnership will go a long way to improve the agricultural value chain in Ghana and boost agricultural activities in the Northern Region of Ghana.
