Three Things Keanu Said About AI Are Truly Worth Thinking About
When Neo talks about the machines, maybe we should listen?
I don’t understand why some people are so gullible. Someone made a video of Elon Musk and Keanu Reeves debating AI. Musk was yelling that Keanu isn’t smart enough to understand technology. Keanu was defending artists.
Except, the whole thing was fake.
Whoever made the video used a still image created by AI. They got AI to write the script. Then they got AI to do the voice track. They put the video up and waited for people to go crazy. Which they did, of course.
Most comments are people screaming it’s fake, AI should be disclosed. Some people didn’t realize it’s fake, nevermind that both Musk and Keanu look twenty years younger than they are today. They were posting to cheer on Keanu. You go, Keanu. Always loved Neo. Blah, blah.
Then Snopes debunked the whole debacle, but people are people so it continues to get likes and shares and people continue to leave comments about AI disclosure oblivious that their anger is fuelling engagement.
