Discover How Midjourney’s New Parameter Transforms Image Aesthetics
Introducing the New --exp
Image Aesthetics Parameter
The “experimental” parameter is with us, and the only way for you to find out what it does is to experiment with it. However, my loyal readers like me to do a bit of experimenting first so they know what sort of rabbit hole they're getting into.
So here goes. I will only scratch the surface for you. Remember, I'm using my own personalisation codes and moodboards. Things are likely to turn out quite different for you.
The two images of the jazz pianist illustrate the difference between Stylise 1000 and experimental 100. (look at the image caption to see which is which.)
In the Experimental 100 version, you’ll notice that the pianist pops forward against a softly blurred backdrop, giving it that more photographic look.
You could get the same effect possibly by adding “shallow depth of field “ to your prompt but my observation was that EXP automatically leans in that direction.
