Draft Out Loud: My Experiments with MidJourney’s Voice Workflow

The buttons are in the top right corner of the webpage

Click the Draft button, turn on your microphone and watch new images appear in seconds, bowing to your every whim.

I would encourage you to experiment like crazy because there is very little official guidance from developers available yet.

Insight #1: before starting a draft, give an instruction like

“Only render images when I have said the word “Go”

This stops Midjourney from jumping in on your waffling instructions. You can use any word you like as the trigger for rendering, e.g. “execute” or “proceed.”

As I write, they have introduced chat mode. It looks like this is the voice-activated version of Draft. Currently, things are changing daily.

Things to Try:

As I explore this, I find nothing very stable. I keep getting notice that personalisation is not available, so I switched it off.
