LEARN PYTHON NOW ! Book: The pillars of python. #1-Purpose of the book

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step” — Lao Tse

We are in the year 2018, it was the year of the explosion of Artificial Intelligence after the increase in computational processing, the exponential growth of data and the ease of sharing information. Those algorithms of neural networks and machine learning that were on the books are finally seeing their greatest utility and companies and countries are beginning to invest without shame trying to take the lead. In the face of this paronama, job offers such as Data Science or data scientist, Big data specialist, software developer and companies start to ask for programming skills as essential requirements.

It is no longer enough just to speak English and have the Microsoft office, in 2018 have knowledge of recommended programming and will be mandatory in a few years if the trend continues.

In the face of this paronama, working in the Artificial Intelligence sector of the financial industry, I want to give back to the community what I have received in the form of free software and a summer ahead seems to be the ideal combination to write an introductory book to Python.

What is the difference between this book and the 100 books out there on python learning and programming? Imagine you want to teach your language to a foreign friend. Would you give him an encyclopedia to start developing? Well, 90% of the courses, books and introductory manuals out there are encyclopedias. What’s the point of an “introduction” book to a language having 400 pages?

Personally, I compare programming to talking, since what we are really doing is communicating, even if it is with a machine and not a person.

In the same way that it is not necessary to study a english philology to speak english, it is not necessary to read a book of more than 200 pages to start programming.

This is the book that will give you the basic notions to start programming and with which I hope you will continue your journey. We will focus on the most basic, practical and important, leaving aside the flourishes often used merely to increase the ego of the programmer himself.
