AI Network in 1 page : Building the Internet for AI in the Web3 era
For those of you who are new to AI Network, we have summarized all the information about our project in one page.
Introduction
AI Network is a blockchain protocol-based collaborative computing architecture for artificial intelligence and metaverse. With the tagline ‘Bring NFTs to Life’, AI Network provides AINFT technology that enables NFTs to interact with users and data in the metaverse, transforming them into dynamic and intelligent beings.
Outline
AI Network is a global backend infrastructure that transforms millions of open source projects into live services (a.k.a. Open Resource). The topic of cloud computing is containers, which can be deployed and executed anywhere regardless of infrastructures such as operating systems. The technology that uses containers is called cloud-native computing. Artificial intelligence is deployed not by a single container, but by tens of thousands of containers. This means that an astronomical infrastructure is needed. In Google’s case, it is known to be based on 2 trillion containers.
The blockchain-based, AI Network (AIN) enables the sharing of large-scale computational resources needed to develop AI technology and services in real-time, and enables cryptocurrency payments when resources are borrowed. In this way, individuals and small and medium developers can reduce the astronomical cost of building or operating equipment. Moreover, skipping this process creates an environment where developers can focus only on development. In addition, complicated and time-consuming operations are performed off the blockchain, and only communications to evaluate the results are recorded on the blockchain, which can speed up transactions on-chain. Common Computer, a company that developed the core system of AIN Blockchain, was founded by Kim Min-hyun, a former Google software engineer. Common Computer’s team also includes developers from major IT companies such as Naver and Samsung.

AINFT is an immutable identifier representing the connectivity of AI components. It is an accountable, reproducible, and valuable entity of AI managed by communities on the Internet for AI.

AI Network DAO (AIN DAO)
The AI Network DAO governs the AI Network ecosystem. AI Network DAO is the foundation of the AI ecosystem to create the Internet for AI. It is a descentralized organization that users and resource providers create together in areas that involve the development and use of artificial intelligence. Members can access the AIN DAO and participate in its governance(make decisions, propose new initiatives, vote).
We have created three roles for our members to choose from, based on the individual traits and skills they can use to contribute to AIN DAO. Through these roles, AI Network is committed to achieve the world’s largest network of GPUs, models, and data.

Service
Ainize
Ainize is a serverless cloud platform designed for open source deployments. Developers can deploy open source projects without worrying about resources. The distributed open source can also be shared as an API. Developers can add the solution the need to the service without installing the source code. The service distributed via Ainize is designed to be operated and distributed based on the AI network Blockchain Cloud. A museum in France used Ainize to provide a service that uses open-source AI to convert black-and-white pictures into color to provide digital postcards.
Since October 20, 2022, Ainize operates in conjunction with AI Network. Our goal is to enable those who have only used Ainize independently to join a shared ecosystem with AI Network. That’s why, earlier this year we started to integrate and linked up in earnest. The link between Ainize and AI Network will be effective from October 20, 2022. Projects deployed free of charge or workspaces in use may be suspended due to policy changes, so please back up and transfer data before that date.

Token model
AIN token is basically a ‘utility token’ used to purchase services. AIN is designed to make it relatively easy to measure the price of computing resources. It is used as a basis for providing a certain amount of computing resources over a specific period of time. In other words, holding an AIN coin guarantees the use of high-value backend services.
Owning an AIN coin itself does not always guarantee the provision of a fixed amount of GPU. For reliability reasons, resource providers and solution providers (developers) deposit a certain amount of AIN coins with the contract. This contract plays an important role in ensuring that AIN maintains a consistent intrinsic value while enabling stable backend operations between each other.

-LINE Tech Plus / Unblock Ventures: Line Tech Plus, Subsidiaries of Line, Asia’s largest messenger, made a partnership with AI Network via token investment. Unblock led the investment, but the amount of the investment was not disclosed.
-DSRV labs: DSRV is a trusted Proof of Stake validator and infrastructure provider that serves innovative blockchain networks.
