AI-generated art is all the rage these days, and rightly so. It’s amazing what a software program can create with a few words as input and the right configurations. AI is being used more and more in creating images, videos, audio, and even written content. This is the future and this will certainly help creators to enhance their content multifold. If you are exploring AI art and not sure where to start, you’ve come to the right place. In this article, I will be explaining how you can use the VQGAN+CLIP method to create your first AI-generated art piece. It’s quite easy to use and this is how I started creating AI art as well.

What you need to know about VQGAN and CLIP method

Before we get started, there are a few things that you need to know about VQGAN+CLIP:

  1. It is a neural network that was built on the CLIP architecture published by OpenAI. It works as a text-to-image model that creates images based on the text prompt that you feed it.
  2. It is written in the Python programming language. So to use it, we need to run some Python code.
