The very first thought comes to our mind when we think of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is why do we need this?

So, the answer is to make world a better place to live. There are so many things happening around the world which we as a human don’t have any control over. This is when AI comes into play, It observes each and everything we want it to observe. Healthcare is one of the biggest concerns we face in our everyday life and still we aren’t able to get the desired solution to overcome this and this is when AI comes into play.

AI technology has the ability to gain information using various sources, process it and give a well-defined output to the end-user which traditional method lacks. Primary aim of AI is to gain information on the solution it provides that if is improving and how efficient it is to traditional methods. It has already outperformed traditional method in prediction Cancer which is kind of a big deal and is improving exponentially.

Large health based companies merging with other health companies, allow for greater health data accessibility and it is advantageous to either sides as it opens larger set of informations from which AI algorithms can learn insights and predict more accurately.

The following are examples of large companies that have contributed to AI algorithms for use in healthcare.

  1. Google

2. IBM

3. Microsoft

4. Intel

One thing which is common among these giants is the amount of data they possess which is increasing faster than we can think of.

There are many more startups which focuses solely on Healthcare are growing rapidly. Few of them are:

AI can be placed in Expanding Care to Developing Nations which is in itself a positive thing as traditional method takes lots of time and are most importantly conditions dependent. So, an increase in the use of AI, will impact developing nations in a good way.

The decision made by AI applications agreed with expert decisions over 90% of time which actually shows how fast it is growing and its growth is directly proportional to the better future.
