Deepavali is celebrated as a festival of lights, Deepavali might have been associated with different historical stories, but the concepts remain the same, it's celebrated to ‘mark victory of Light over Darkness. To ensure that hurdles are just temporary and are stepping stones to bigger success.

This was the first Diwali celebration in CTC-Malaysia, so planning had to be spontaneous and creative, with no reference to previous year’s celebrations, the team started a discussion on different ideas for locations to host in, decorations to be set up in different places of office, dress code for the day, snacks to be served on the day, and so on…

The team came up with beautiful ideas for the event, so many people volunteered and owned many tasks preparing Sweets from Home, Designing the Rangoli, arranging the catering for snacks, climbing across office walls like Spiderman to decorate the walls…

It was a grand celebration, reminding us how excited we used to get for these festivals as a kid.

Irrespective of which festival the motto of all celebrations remains the same to bring everyone together, communities together to work towards something dedicatedly and wholeheartedly and share joy and happiness in the process.
