European Cloud User Coalition Position Paper

In early 2021 a number of financial institutions around European, including AIB, announced the formation of the European Cloud User Coalition (ECUC). The primary aim is to collaborate on the challenges posed by the adoption of cloud computing.
On 12th May 2021, the ECUC published our position paper which covers a number of different subjects all related to cloud computing, for example: privacy, security, governance and regulation. The paper has an entire section on the EU’s proposed Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
Cloud computing can be scalable, robust and secure, but it is not without its challenges in particular regulatory. If you’re interested in reading more please do read our position paper.
