Dublin, Ireland — December 20, 2018 AID:Tech, the company that transforms how governments, enterprises, and NGOs deliver digital entitlements, today launched the TraceDonate app, in partnership with the Irish Red Cross. Powered by Blockchain technology, TraceDonate enables donors to give to beneficiaries and appeals in a fully transparent way.
Commenting on the launch, Danny Curran, Director of Growth at AID:Tech said: “we are striving to improve transparency in the donation process, and therefore providing a platform to engage with donors. With this app, not only can you tell where your donation was spent, but also for what, and how much.”

From initial contribution to end-use, TraceDonate will benefit individual donors, recipients, organizations, NGOs, and charities themselves.”
The app will allow individual donors to donate funds to individuals, groups, and appeals which are created and managed by each NGO and charity. Donors can also view and track their contribution history within the app and stay informed through mobile and email notifications of how donated funds are being used.
Through the TraceDonate app, end beneficiaries will receive donations directly from individual donors. Organizations, NGOs, and charities are provided with individually branded pages to allow users to donate to different organisations with ease.
