IBM Cognos Analytics V 11.2.4 LTSR (Long Term Support Release) is available for download
As announced, the new Long Term Release of Cognos Analytics with Watson was made available on 12/16/2022. The version IBM Cognos Analytics 11.2.4 LTS is a version
Many Cognos users are upgrading from version 11.1.7 LTS to the new 11.2.4 LTS version in the coming weeks. This means that all new features of the previous versions (11.2.0 / 11.2.1 / 11.2.2 / 11.2.3) will be included in this step.
In 11.2.4 LTS a few interesting new features have been added.
Cognos Analytics with Watson 11.2.4 includes the following enhancements:
- Query Engine performance enhancements
- Microsoft™ Teams integration for Cognos reports.
- Support for data sources
- Ability to display maps in PDF and Excel
- Natural language generation in dashboards
- Support for toolbar color themes
NOTE TO ALL STUDIO USERS: Version CA 11.2.4 LTS is the latest release to include IBM Cognos Query Studio, IBM Cognos Analysis Studio, and IBM Cognos Workspace. Support for Cognos Query Studio, Cognos Analysis Studio and Cognos Workspace will not continue after the current release.
This release will be provided with fixpacks for several years: With this release, Cognos Analytics with Watson and also IBM Cognos Analytics PowerPlay are Long Term Support releases (LTSR) and provide standard support for at least two years, plus an option for a one-year support extension, for a total coverage of at least three years.
