AidCoin Pre-sale Tutorial: how to Participate in the Token Pre-sale with Eidoo
Dearest AidCoin early adopters,
In this article we’ll explain how to participate in the AidCoin pre-sale with an easy step-by-step guide. Remember: the pre-sale starts on November 20th at 6pm CET.
STEP 0: Download and create your Eidoo Wallet
To participate in AidCoin’s pre-sale, you must have Eidoo’s user-friendly wallet. The Eidoo app is free and available both for iOS and Android. Once you have downloaded the app, follow the in-app guide to create your new Eidoo Wallet.
Remember: the only cryptocurrency accepted for the pre-sale is Ether. If you don’t have already ETH in your Eidoo wallet, you have 2 options:
- Buy ETH on any available exchange (eg., Coinbase) and transfer them to your Eidoo wallet, or
- Send the ETH you already own from an exchange or wallet to your Eidoo wallet address
STEP 1: Open the Eidoo app and check the ICO list
Open the Eidoo app and enter your password to unlock your wallet. The Eidoo wallet will then show your available assets.
Click on the “See the ICO list” banner: you will land on the ICO list page.
Important: Eidoo’s ICO engine will be soon available. Please make sure you have installed the latest version of the iOs or Adroid app on your smartphone.
STEP 2: Select AidCoin on the ICO List Page
On the “ICO list” page you will see all the upcoming and ongoing ICO.
Once the pre-sale starts (November 20, 2017 at 6 pm CET), you will see the “ongoing” status on the AidCoin box.
Click on the box to access the pre-sale.
STEP 3: Enter the desired ETH amount
Enter the ETH amount you want to use to buy AidCoin. The app will immediately show how many AID tokens you are buying.
Once you enter the desired ETH amount, click “PROCEED” at the top right of the screen.
Remember: on the pre-sale there is a 20% bonus, therefore 1 ETH = 1,200 AID.
STEP 4: Read Terms & Conditions
To continue you must read the pre-sale’s “Terms and Conditions”.
Once you’ve read and accepted the T&Cs, check the box at the bottom of the screen and click “I AGREE” at the top right of the screen.
STEP 5: Confirm Transaction
Double check the amount of ETH you are going to contribute.
Enter your Eidoo Wallet password and click on “CONFIRM”.
STEP 6: Transaction Successfully Sent
You will land on a new page showing the word “Successful” and a green check: you have successfully sent your ETH to the AidCoin Smart Contract on the blockchain!
Click “OK” on the top-right of the screen.
STEP 7: Receive AidCoin Tokens
The app will show the transaction as “pending” on the transaction list.
Once the transaction is confirmed, you will receive the tokens and finally see AidCoin among your assets…congratulations!
Remember: AidCoin tokens will be transferable from your wallet as soon as the crowdsale ends (December 30,2017 or whenever the hard cap is reached).
