AidCoin reduces ICO hardcap due to price increase of ETH. Better value for ICO participants!

Since the beginning of the AidCoin presale on the 20th November, ETH has been increasing in value. This prompted us to evaluate if and how to reflect the price change so that the amount raised during the ICO gives us the runway necessary to make AidCoin a success.

This is why we are announcing that the total hardcap (pre-sale + crowdsale) for the AidCoin ICO has been lowered from 38,333 ETH to 14,333 ETH.

The price of AidCoin during the ICO is now 1 ETH = 2,000 AID.

To ensure pre-sale contributors keep the 20% bonus, pre-sale price will become 1 ETH = 2,400 AID, through an airdrop.

We believe this is the best course of action so that the hardcap reflects the change in ETH price and the amount raised during the ICO is appropriate to the task ahead.

Part of the tokens minted will be given to all token sale participants who will hold their AID tokens for a period of time after the ICO. More details will be communicated in the coming weeks.

In addition, we have received feedback from the community to lower the minimum contribution to join the ICO, which is currently the equivalent of $1,000 on Bitcoin Suisse. We are therefore excited to announce that contributors will also be able to participate in the ICO with smaller amounts directly from the Aidcoin website through a smart contract.

Thanks for reading and don’t forget the AidCoin ICO starts 16th January at 12pm CET.
