Interview with our tech team: check the new AIDPay features!
Great news for our current and future partners! From today on, integrating AIDPay to your website or application has become even easier: AIDPay can be customized to perfectly fit your product design and not only that.
But first, let us refresh your memories:
AIDPay is an embeddable widget for raising donations in 26 cryptos through third parties’ websites in support of charities registered on AIDChain.
AIDPay can be embedded not only in charities’ websites but also in other blockchain projects’ websites and applications to allow their users to donate to charity straight through their product interfaces, thus adding extra user experience, effortlessly for the team.
This time we decided to use a more lively format and prepared this interview with our developers, Daniela and Vittorio, so you can learn more about the new features of AIDPay:
What is the new AIDPay feature about?
The new AIDPAy feature allows other blockchain projects to get their own customized AIDPay widgets to integrate to their websites. So any project can pick the charities it wants to support from those registered on AIDChain (whether they want to pick just one charity or multiple ones) and we will customize colors and logos and give it a custom code to embed on its websites.
In the end, the project will have a widget perfectly fitting its interface design and an extra feature for its users!
- Why did you create this feature?
We came up with this idea when we saw how many projects wanted to take part in our ecosystem. Originally, AIDPay was supposed to be integrated only on the charities’ websites, but after we saw the excitement within our partners — mainly crypto wallets and exchanges — we thought it would be great to give them tools to raise crypto donations through their interfaces. And now we’ve even taken a step forward and made it customizable, allowing partners to pick their favorite charities and use their own colors and logo.
- Who can use the AIDPay widget?
Any website/application can embed AIDPay and benefit from it if its users have cryptocurrency. Most requests we’ve received so far were from crypto exchanges, crypto wallets, crypto cards and online stores where crypto is accepted as a payment.
- How can I get a customized AIDPay widget?
All you need to do is send us an email to Hello@aidcoin.co and give us the logo, the colors codes and the charities you want to support, and we will create the widget.
- Will I see how much has been raised through my widget?
We will be able to report to you about how much crypto has been donated through its widget. We know how motivating it is to know your impact!
- Is that all that you’ve changed in AIDPay?
We came up with a new design for AIDPay cause while we create new features, we always strive to improve the existing ones and we realized that AIDPay could be much better with this design. After all, AIDPay is our favorite feature so far and we wanted it to look as good as it is inside 😊
