Richard Ma, Co-founder & CEO at Quantstamp, joins AidCoin as Advisor
This is how to start a great week!
AidCoin, the ERC-20 token for the new era of charitable giving, is excited to announce that Richard Ma, Quantstamp Co-founder & CEO, has joined AidCoin in an advisory role.
Francesco Nazari Fusetti — AidCoin CEO — first met Richard at the Bangkok Blockchain World Conference and since then Richard has been advising AidCoin informally. Together over Christmas, we donated to the Merry Merkle Tree — a decentralized giving project — shared ideas and discussed the best path for AidCoin and the AidChain ecosystem of services.
Richard has advised Aidcoin both strategically and operationally during its ICO and will continue to do so as the project evolves. Today, we want to thank Richard for the support and welcome him formally in the AidCoin team.
This announcement comes as we have successfully completed the AidCoin ICO and AidCoin (AID) has been listed on Bitfinex.
Proof of Donation
“With public trust in charities at all time lows, we have set out to solve the issue of tracking donations by utilizing the transparency and traceability of blockchain technology.”, says the CEO at AidCoin, Francesco Nazari Fusetti. “AidCoin is both the preferred method to donate transparently through the Ethereum blockchain and to access the ecosystem of services provided by the AIDChain platform.”
Richard Ma, Co-founder and CEO at Quantstamp says, “I feel very much aligned with AidCoin’s overall vision and ambitious objective of tracking charitable donations. At Quantstamp, we know how much caring matters.” He continues “I am excited to join the AidCoin team in my advisory role both strategically and operationally. Being able to provide full transparency and traceability is a key goal for the non-profit sector and through AidCoin and AidChain’s ecosystem of services, we are on the right path.”
AIDChain is a platform that provides an ecosystem of services through an easy-to-use interface, connecting the nonprofit community while allowing full transparency and traceability of donations. Donors, charities, causes, projects and many more will benefit from the services provided by the AIDChain platform.
AIDChain’s services include:
- Register and verify identity: Charities and causes must register and get verified to receive donations.
- Convert and donate: An internal exchange to convert major cryptocurrencies into AidCoin and a built-in wallet to easily manage them.
- Track donations: Follow AidCoin transactions both on-chain and off-chain.
- Deduct from taxes: Get a receipt for your charitable donation to make it tax deductible.
- Discover and connect: Tools to connect donors with all the actors involved in the non-profit sector.
- Deploy smart contracts: Templates of smart contracts that can be easily customized with the click of a button.
The AidCoin project is conceived and developed by CharityStars, a charity fundraising platform since 2013 that has been working with 500+ charities like Unicef and WWF, 200+ celebrities and 100+ brands such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Sharon Stone, Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari and Armani.
The AidCoin team is super pleased with reaching the ICO hard cap of 14,333 ETH within the first 90 minutes. This makes AidCoin a very successful ICO, which is especially inspiring considering the nature of our project: reigniting trust in the non-profit sector.
Not only did our supporters pay off our sleepless nights and contribute to the future development of the project, but also proved there is a need and great interest in charitable giving and solving the issue of tracking donations. It’s very important and motivating for us to know that what we do at AidCoin is as meaningful to the community as it is for us.
