Terberg Tractors Malaysia Product Launch

TTM launched its brand new full battery electric tractor, the Malaysia-built Model YT200EV, to guests at the Terberg Manufacturing Plant in Pasir Gudang on 29 November 2022. During the event, TTM also demonstrated an autonomous diesel terminal tractor that has been fitted with Aidrivers’ AI-enabled autonomous technology.

Aidrivers and TTM have been working together since 2019 with a joint vision of developing autonomous transportation that is accessible and meets the demands of the ports industry.

A Terberg YT223-T3 (diesel) terminal tractor has been produced with in-design drive-by-wire that is compatible with Aidrivers’ autonomous eco-system, including Navigator “AIOS”, Operator “AIFO” and Simulator “AISE”. Earlier this year, it was announced that the first live autonomous demonstration would be carried out within ongoing operations at the Port of Tanjung Pelepas, taking place within a mixed-traffic container terminal for normal port operations.
