The one back to school !
Sun is shining, trees are blossoming, a delightful perfume of innocence and excitement takes over our day to day, inevitably drawing a happy smile on (most) faces — summer is here !
Although here in the North summer and warmth may always feel like a surprise, we keep finding having almost forgotten what it is to finally get to appreciate pleasantly longer days and most importantly — VACATIONS !
I think it’s fair to say that Sweden (and most Europe) comes to a halt over these beautiful weeks — midsummer, music festival and trips away rule the agenda !
For us, it is a much-valued time that we take to reflect on what we achieved as a team during these past months, but also take the time to explore more hands-on topics — it is good to finally be able to dive into technological rabbit holes.
Nevertheless, we all know that after the calm … comes the storm.
But what a cool storm we have coming our way though !
A lot of exciting things are peaking at the horizon, and we could not be more ready for it — let’s have a look at some of the fine early tastes of what promises to be a fizzy fall !
A visit to our neighbours to the East
We have been invited to go to Finland to assist the local (and wonderful) Capgemini team there with the relaunch of their collaboration with a finish company that shall remain nameless.
Married couple often renew their vows to each other years down the line — well, it turns out that companies can also do that !
Our shining (and beard-less) leader animated a lively panel with the leaders of both organization around the table and laced some of Capgemini’s renowned Innovation capabilities and reputation around the hands of both parties.
Johan and Arthur, behind the doors, were busy setting up their fun and inspiring demos respectively around Social Robotics (GenAI powered mind into a devilishly handsome NAO body) and Haptics combined with Virtual Reality.

RIOT Labs
Exciting news for our RIOT Labs !
We have very recently welcomed a “temp” in our team (reference to The Office) who will be able to closely lead the up and coming projects that we aim to pursue this fall.
Expect a lot of GenAI driven witty apps and some explorations around our core ways of working coming soon !
NAO is showing off to 100 municipalities
Our dear NAO also had a presentation to not less than 100 municipalities in Sweden about his newly enhanced capabilities as a friend and a confident to stressed children in school.
We are super grateful to the opportunity given to us to explore how to explore this little cutie’s still unknown potential.
Innovation Week is just around the corner
Amidst all of this happy chaos, we are also still crushing through the last brushes on our 2023 edition of the Innovation Week, which is set to take place from the 11th to the 15th of September.
Very keen to meet and get to inspire the young generation of colleagues to embark in the Capgemini journey with us — this year on the Future of Automotive !
