Whether you’re a first-year student, in your third year or a high-school student, if you’re interested in personal development and doing more than the minimum, you’ve come to the right place, AIESEC.

Let us introduce ourselves…

We are the world’s largest international youth-run non-political organization, not just a student organization. Our core mission is that we strive to achieve peace and fulfillment of humankind’s full potential. We believe in youth as the key to achieve this mission and we place our confidence in them to lead us into the future. We are passionate about leadership as well as global issues.

What do we do in AIESEC?

This didn’t tell you yet what do we do in AIESEC. We enable young people to develop their leadership through learning from practical experiences in challenging environments.

Every year students go abroad on a volunteering experience with us, as well as they can go on an internship. But we also create internship possibilities and volunteering projects in Estonia for young people all around the world.

Joining us as a member allows you to work on different skills from sales to public speaking to creating a project. But there is one skill everyone in AIESEC learns: leadership.

All of our volunteering projects are created based on the United Nations created Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). AIESEC is one of the United Nations’ partners.

SDGs help us work towards a better and more sustainable future for everyone. They address the global challenges from poor education to climate change. This year in Tartu we had a project called GreenEST that worked on goal number 13 — Climate action.

So why should you join AIESEC?

We value every member of AIESEC. You, together with other awesome members will develop yourselves while working towards our common goals. Personal development is at the core of everything we do, not just an afterthought. You might be surprised how much you change in a year and how much you learn.

Outside of the personal development and work, we are all friendly, from different schools, faculties and backgrounds. We love to play board games, watch movies, hang out, and occasionally challenge each other.
