Steering young leaders to identify their true potential with Aberdeen Holdings

It is headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Having sustainability and equity as priorities, its investments cater towards a favourable future. The key focus of Aberdeen Holdings lies in bridging communities, spurring innovation, and ensuring equal opportunity. In such manners it is able to give back to their people at every level of operations.
Considering the reputation held and the impact created by Aberdeen Holdings, it was an honor for AIESEC in University of Kelaniya to have Aberdeen Holdings as their official talent partner for C.E.O ’22.
Challenge Every Opportunity (C.E.O ’22) was an event that manifests the ideal exposure to the corporate field. It encompassed functional workshops, a consultancy space, case study competitions, mentoring sessions from the best of the corporate field, a presentation round and many more activities. These inclusions created a great opportunity for young people to seek internships as well. By joining hands with Aberdeen Holdings, C.E.O ’22 concluded with the event being a thriving success.
Throughout the event, the participants were able to exhibit their creativity and innovative mindset. By extending a hand to the event, it is evident that Aberdeen Holdings promotes innovation and originality. Moreover, the intent of identifying potential business leaders of the next generation was quite successful in terms of the viewpoint of Aberdeen Holdings. AIESEC promotes building strong networks through their events, and C.E.O ’22 is the epitome of it. Many students were granted the opportunity of building relationships with renowned personnel in the corporate field by having Aberdeen Holdings as a partner of C.E.O ’22.
Our partnership created the initiative to steer our membership and the youth who engaged with us towards identifying their true potential. Furthermore, by creating a platform to showcase skills, they received their well-deserved recognition and appreciation. By contributing to a sustainable future, the partnership with Aberdeen Holdings can be deemed a major coup. AIESEC in University of Kelaniya and Aberdeen Holdings intend to continue collaborating and provide room for leadership development in the future.
