Welcome to the Practical AI for AI Practitioners blog! We’re Anand and Shabaz — 2 AI practitioners interested in sharing solutions to practical technical, personnel, ethical, and many other issues in deploying production grade AI.

Why did we start this blog

We started this because we have spent the last 7 years working, studying, and chatting with other AI practitioners building practical machine learning algorithms and teams across various industries but faced many obstacles along the way and learned best from our peers. While there are a bunch of materials out there on Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and great tools and materials for scalable software infrastructure, there wasn’t much in the way of practical advice on building AI teams, productionizing ML code, AI ethics and many other topics from the perspective of AI practitioners.

What is our goal?

Goal: Present practical solutions to problems you face as an AI practitioner, no matter if you’re just starting out or have been at it for a while.

Who is this for?

Our posts are for AI practitioners — Data Scientists, ML engineers, and Machine Learning leaders making architecture decisions and looking for best practices from other practitioners to build their systems and teams right.

What are we going to do?

In this blog, we will provide insights from our experience, review materials from other sources, interview other practitioners and share any best practices we learn about along the way.

DISCLAIMER: We are NOT the experts on everything and will treat it as such. We’ll be synthesizing thoughts from other thought leaders in different verticals and adding color based on our experiences.
