GFlowNets: The next big idea in AI

The field of AI is evolving at a very rapid pace but rarely does something happen that shifts the paradigm. The last two big things in the field of AI are Generative Adversarial Networks and attention mechanisms. Both of these techniques or methods have been used in countless research papers since and have been the backbone of inventing new strategies for both Vision and NLP tasks. I feel that GFlowNets is the next big thing that is going to change a lot of things in AI, especially in the field of Reinforcement learning.
