Sharing the Global Goals at CWRU Big Green Event
Fowler Center team shares the “World’s Must-Do” list with Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) community
On November 15, the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit participated in the CWRU Big Green Event hosted by the CWRU Office of Sustainability. The event drew a crowd of students, staff and community members at the Tinkham Veale University Center. Attendees heard an update from the CWRU Office for Sustainability and lightening-round presentations from centers, programs, and student initiatives on campus and in the Northeast Ohio community.
Fowler Center Senior Director Katherine Gullett gave one of these presentations to share Business as an Agent of World Benefit, the Fowler Center’s AIM2Flourish initiative, and the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
John Mitterholzer, the George Gund Foundation’s senior program officer for the environment, gave a keynote talk on national funders’ response to the U.S. pulling out of the Paris Climate Commitment.
