It’s November and you are probably pressed for time due to the busyness of October through January 1. It’s also that time of year where many of us celebrate a variety of holidays and spend time with friends and family.

Here’s to hoping this gift guide saves you some time and energy. Following are products I’ve received in 2024 for potential review.

These items fall in a wide price range ideal for budget to luxury spends.

The post is laid out with the priciest items down to stocking stuffers/small gift ideas.

Hope this helps ease some of your end of year shopping.

$200 or Less

Park and Coop

Park and Coop makes beautiful fabric bags and aprons from upcycled jeans material. I’ve written about them previously and think they’d be a unique, sustainable item to gift.

Prices range from $5 to $120

Moss Lab Air Purifier, Author’s collection

I had the opportunity to test this for potential product review over the summer. While I absolutely love the idea to use moss as an indoor air purifier, it is only ideal for quite a small space like desktop in an enclosed office.

It’s absolutely beautiful. I’m a sucker for aesthetic home products. I’ve managed to keep the moss alive almost 6 months, no problem — and I do not use this all the time.

There’s a magnetic ball function to open and close the steam. I love the feel of rolling it to open or closed. When closed, the moss gets a nice dose of moisture. When open, you get a nice dose of purifying moisture.

Moss Air is easily charged with a USB cord.

The Moss Air All in One pack is currently on sale for $129. This includes

  • Moss air x 1
  • Moss filter x 1
  • Cotton filter x 3(2+1)
  • Magnetic ball x 1
  • USB C type x 1
  • Manual x 1

The moss filter is supposed to last at least one year and replacements run a reasonable $20.

WLive 5 Drawer Fabric Dresser

Wlive Fabric Dresser, Author’s collection

This simple fabric drawer took me about a day to put together, with breaks, and a bit of help from my daughter. Overall, it was easy to put together and came with the tools and hardware needed. Pieces and packages are clearly labeled.

A few of the hardware spots for screws were difficult to screw in but this could be user error.

Currently on sale for $55.99, sticker price is $79.99

Wlive is committed to sustainability and is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. “Made with materials from well-managed forests, recycled materials, and/or other controlled wood sources.”

Formulary55 Soap and Dish Set

Just wow🫶🤩😎

Delivery was super fast, opening the cardboard box ended up being like opening a surprise gift. I carefully undid the gorgeous tissue and even the paper wrapping this shea butter handsoap.

I’m smitten with butterflies and the swallowtail featured on Formulary 55’s Everything Plate brings me joy. The eastern tiger swallowtail is our state (Oklahoma) butterfly.

The neroli and honeycomb soap is gentle and suds nicely. After I finish with the soap on its whimsical dish, I’ll move the plate for a jewelry rest. 🦋💜

$31 for an artisan soap and everything plate set.

Stocking stuffers/small gifts from $6–8

Other items range from $31–100 and up for a subscription service.

Stinky Candle Company

From the “That’s So Random” tab on the Stinky Candle Company website

In researching stinky scents I might be missing, I discovered the Stinky Candle Company, which reminded me of more strange and stinky scents I love.

During the pandemic, I wanted candles from a cool company, and boy, did I find one. With Stinky Candle Company, you can join a Candle of the Month Club for $159.99 anually or you can snag a sale candle ranging from $5-$7.

Stinky Candle Company has a wide variety of scents categorized as such: Childhood Memories, Oddly Satisfying, Food and Drink, Mother Nature, Stings The Nostrils, That’s So Random, Wax Melts, and Overstock Discounts.

Stinky Candle Company made its debut in my writing in the below humor piece: link

Franz face masks 2 sets of jet style

It appears this product is no longer being sold. Find other Franz products here:

Author’s collection

My teen daughter and I tried these together. It was a fun little beauty-bonding time. Our first comment was, “This tastes bad…try not to get it on your lips.”

Things looked up from there. The mask felt cool and refreshing. I worried it would sting my sensitive skin, but each layer felt soothing instead of painful. We used the extra liquid in each package to rub on our necks because why waste any of it.

The top of the forehead on mine folded a bit. I didn’t worry about it.

It takes about 5 minutes to prep and apply and then 20 minutes to “relax.” As I waited, some mask layers flitted up. It wasn’t a big deal. I patted them down and the cooling effect felt nice.

Definitely a fun treat for mask-lovers.

To finish using, with clean hands, rub any remaining goop until absorbed.

Bonus: Small Gifts/Stocking Stuffers

Sucker Punch Electrolytes for Runners or Potsies

I LOVE these. They are great for my POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) and I’m sure they would also be great for the athletes in your life. We all need minerals and electrolytes that are often filtered out of our drinking water. This is a fun way to get some of those nutrients.

Plus, how cute would these be in a stocking?!

About $22 for a 12 pack.

Mychelle

I enjoy using this face serum for casual days out. It does run in the heat or if you’re sweating. I really enjoy how it evens out the blotchiness of my skin and creates a smoothe foundation for makeup if I want to wear that. I wear very minimal makeup, so whipping out the face serum is something I use for special occasions mostly.

The serum price point is $28.

Biovanta Throat Spray

Due to my own health issues, I am not supposed to take NSAIDs. Many of the Biovanta products do have that as an ingredient. I did try the throat spray and found relief.

This would be a good brand to check out for the health concsious in your life.

From the company story page: “At Biovanta, we harness natural bioactives, blending the wisdom of nature with advanced science. Our goal is to offer a new way to care for health, breaking free from traditional, often damaging, cold treatments.”

Prices range from $13–$42

Scar Fader

I know some people love wearing their scars. If you do, this product is not for you. But, if you would like to prevent fresh wounds from scarring badly or to fade old scars, this product is awesome!

The on-the-go roll-on tube is my favorite. It is gentle and softens the scar and the skin around it. This has worked for me. The roll-on is easy to slip in a bag or even a pocket.

Guru Nanda Oil Pulling + other products

I started creating my own coconut oil and turmeric oil pulling concoction several years ago. I got lazy about making it and tired of spitting it in the trash in order to not clog sinks.

From what I can tell, GuruNanda oil pulling is safe to spit down the drain. It tastes good and seems to work well.

When I consistently did that homemade oil pulling, my dental tech actually noticed the difference. I personally love cloves and herbal tastes. I can see someone not enjoying this if they do not love these tastes, so this is something to think about when gifting.

I also wanted to suggest Scribble, a company I have written about before, who creates wrapping paper from art or an art book from art you have collected. I’ll leave the review for that below. Several of the products in the higher price categories have corresponding products that fit the small gift section, too, so do give it a gander.

Happy Holidays, Y’all!!
