The World Will End Soon (As We Know It)

I’ve always wondered why people don’t think the same things as me and aren’t as worried as me. It seems like we are getting closer and closer to society collapsing but no one seems to even notice.

We are suffering from thousands of problems, no matter where you live on earth, and they keep getting worse.

• AI
• Global Warming
• Overpopulation / Poverty
• Nuclear Weapons / War
• Drugs / Mental Health
• Corruption / Government

and so much more.

Today, I would like to talk about why I believe these problems are a bigger issue and why you should be worried.

Firstly, the undisputable most popular problem arising at the moment, AI. Many believe this is a great era for humanity as everything is becoming easier thanks to AI. They don’t seem to realise how quickly it is replacing everything that is normal to us. First it was just replacing annoying tasks to aid humans with their work. No one seems to think about how soon it will replace millions or even billions of jobs, companies do not care about you or what happens to you. They are solely money-driven and anything to cut costs is a no brainer for them, they have been trying to reduce staff costs forever. Now they have a more efficient, faster and most importantly cheaper way to do all the hard work for them. I heard someone say that AI will only create jobs but this isn’t enough compared to the amount it will take. While you go to school for 10 years and get years of experience to get a job, AI can learn it all and become better than you in seconds. Not all 8 billion people in the world can be AI servants, if one AI can take 100 people’s jobs but only requires 1 person to help run it, you can do the maths and realise we are doomed.

AI has already come too far and isn’t going to stop soon, so tell me, have you thought about the following situations?

• A man is on trial for murder, he has not murdered anyone. The opposition shows multiple videos, recordings and photo evidence that proves him guilty. All made with AI, perfectly. It is impossible to tell it’s not real. If the courts do not change, society will collapse from the inside. If they do change, evidence will no longer be allowed in court, what kind of system would they use then? An AI lie detector? This same principle can be used in thousands of situations.
• Cyber criminals have begun using AI to create 18+ videos and pictures of random people on social media, then autonomously blackmail using it and request payment through bitcoin otherwise it will be released. This is already a problem with many public websites offering 18+ AI creations of famous people online. What choice would you have if this happened to you?

AI is becoming smarter than us at a rapid rate, and soon it will surpass any human, we will not be able to understand the very thing we created. AI will be making more AI to help itself, and with the human orders of “improve humanity”, “fix the earth” or something similar, it’s not long before it realises the real problem. Humanity itself. When they realise the horrors of humanity and our failures, its only option will be to take over from humans. We will have no power, the thing humans love so much.

Over 99% of the earth’s problems are due to humans and we create more and more everyday. It is only logical for someone trying to better earth or fix our problems to kill us all or take over.

It’s not long now before we have AI as presidents and changing our whole world. Even currently AI is taking thousands of jobs at its early stages. What’s the solution to all this? Sadly, nothing, it’s too late. The best thing we can do now is try to move to a different planet before it’s too late, and you better hope they don’t learn how rockets work.

This is just one of the many problems we are facing currently, and I would be happy to talk about many others. While we blame older generations for the harm they caused with global warming and the economy, the future generations will blame us for AI and our technological “advancements”.
