Week#6 Tracking of Students’ Facial Expressions

What Have We Done Last Week?

Last week, we used a portion of our dataset to train the model and then tested it on various images to see how well it performed. Unfortunately, after running the tests, it became clear that our model was not yet able to achieve the level of accuracy that we were hoping for. We decide that our model requires further development to achieve accurate results.

What Have We Done This Week?

Model Training

This week, as we mentioned last week, we trained our model with much more data. To be able to further train, we labeled our images again. The training hours were very long and it was challenging.

Preparation for Final Submission

We looked for a record of online lectures to evaluate our model and demonstrate it in final project presentations. According to the feedback we get for our progress report, we reorganized our report. We are confident that it more accurately reflects the progress we have made on the project.

Conclusion

We made some adjustments to our model and report according to our observations and the feedback we got from our instructors.

We’re hoping to put the finishing touches on it next week.
