Cool Job(s) Announcement: Two Short-term Design Roles

The International Rescue Committee’s Airbel Center is looking to hire two short-term design roles for a project aimed at reducing Intimate Partner Violence (IPV).

The first role is for a 5–6 week gig with three weeks in Liberia starting mid-to-late July to test and revise audio testimonials with users in Liberia. Professional experience in design research and humanitarian or development contexts required.

The second role is a junior designer based in Uganda focusing on leveraging faith leaders to deliver couple’s counseling in a church in Gulu, Uganda. The project will run for 8 weeks around September and October. Designers must have strong design problem solving skills and experience revising a product based on feedback. Required skills include the ability to revise a very simple app prototype using proto.io and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
