Cool Job Announcement: IRC Regional Innovation Director in the Middle East
The Airbel Center, IRC’s innovation lab, is expanding our team in the Middle East, and we are looking for a Regional Director of Innovation for Jordan and Lebanon to help us manage and grow our portfolio of programs in the region.
We are searching for a leader with a track record of accomplishments in social innovation, the grit and determination to identify and bring new innovations to scale, and an appetite for working in a dynamic environment. More importantly, you’re a people-person, a great boss, and a curious thinker — able to combine quantitative and qualitative analysis, and your interpersonal skills in a solutions-oriented way.
The Airbel Center builds interdisciplinary teams that partner with experienced IRC staff and leadership. We integrate design, behavioral science, and quantitative analytics into program design, testing, and evaluation. Since our founding in early 2016, we have launched a number of innovation projects with the IRC, like preventing gender-based violence in West Africa, designing new types of parenting programs for Syrians that can be more scalable, and rethinking how to increase refugee employment in Jordan. This role will help us build on this existing portfolio of promising work, deepen our practice in the Middle East, and build local capacity for these kinds of projects.
