AirGap integrates QuipuSwap

Over the years, we’ve relied on Changelly and ChangeNOW to serve as our in-built exchange. Both have provided excellent and efficient service to our users.

As part of our ongoing effort to make every aspect of AirGap more secure, more efficient, and more decentralized, we’ve integrated QuipuSwap, an open-source decentralized application (Dapp) that provides an interface for the exchange of Tezos based Tokens (FA2 and FA1.2) in an efficient manner.

In this blog, we present a walk-through of how this feature work in AirGap.

Simple In-App Exchange

To use this feature, you have to enable at least a Tezos account and for example the YOU token.

If you do not enable two of the accounts specified above, you will receive an error message.

Please refer to this blog and scroll down to the section under “Add Account” for instructions on how to add accounts.

Click the “Exchange” tab (Image 1)
In this walk-through, we will be swapping XTZ to YOU token.
Input the number of coins you want to swap. In this case, we will exchange 1.5 XTZ to YOU. (Image 2)
Click the “Exchange” button. (Image 2)

Click on the “confirm exchange” button. (Image 3)
Select what method you want to use in interacting with the vault. (Image 4)

We used the same device approach for this example, but as always, we recommend you use the offline device approach for maximum security.

As a result, you will be directed to the vault, where you will be required to enter a password or your fingerprint as it depends on the security measures set on your device.

You should have a success message after this transaction has been successfully broadcasted (Image 8, 9)
