AirGap now supports æternity Roma!
Our love for æternity is no secret :) Since the beginning of the contribution campaign our team has always been working closely with the ever-since growing æternity family. Today we are very proud to announce that the entire AirGap System consisting of Wallet, Vault and Vault Distribution now supports æternity Roma.
We want to congratulate the whole team on the this milestone release of æternity Roma.
It’s very exciting to see the æternity ecosystem grow stronger every day. It makes us very proud to be part of this movement. During the ongoing migration process to the æternity Mainnet already over 89,000,00 tokens have been migrated, supported by AirGap. Besides displaying the migration balance of the current phase, æternity Roma transaction are now possible.

Our next steps
One of æternity’s strengths are state channels. State channels allow transacting parties to instantly transfer funds without having to trust each other. Besides helping solve the scalability issue blockchains have, this technology is also very practical for instantaneous peer-to-peer transaction of value, making cryptocurrencies payments more usable for every day use cases like buying coffee in a shop. For us this means one step further towards mass adoption of cryptocurrencies. One of the next steps on our roadmap is that AirGap will support æternity’s state channels and hence allow our users to pay with their mobile phone instant and trust-less.
