AirGap to add support for Tezos based USDT
AirGap Wallet is pleased to announce that we will enable Tezos-based USDT by default.
It has always been possible to add FA1.2 and FA2 tokens to AirGap, all you need is the contract address. With our coming update, tentatively planned for next week, we will add default support for Tezos-based USDT and our users won’t be needing to input the contract address.
It is impossible to overstate the significance of stable coins, particularly in light of the recent market downturn. During extreme market volatility, stable coins are unquestionably the safest haven.
After the collapse of the UST, stable coins have trends that have become increasingly popular, and it is of the utmost importance to the crypto community that these coins have a mechanism that is both practical and capable of preserving their peg over time like USDT.
The introduction of tether USDT on the Tezos ecosystem to AirGap gives our Tezos lovers a stable alternative in both bear and bull markets. Having a stable coin is good. Storing it securely on AirGap is good enough. Cheers ✌️.
