With the news of TzScan shutting down with the Babylon protocol upgrade we’ve received a great amount of feedback on missing features for block explorers in the Tezos ecosystem.

In the upcoming days we will focus on adding the much needed data to tezblock:

  • Rewards — rewards for a baker per cycle as well as rewards broken down to the individual delegator
  • Baking & endorsement rights — overview for a baker about their upcoming endorsement and baking rights
  • Frozen amounts — detailed stats on the deposits and pending rewards
  • Rewards/Payouts API — API to get the delegator rewards for a baker

Changes and improvements

The last days have been focused on making tezblock ready for the Babylon upgrade as well as bring various smaller changes and improvements.

Telegram Tezos Notifier Bot integration
You can now directly subscribe to notifications about transactions, delegations and much more on Telegram with the Tezos Notifier Bot directly from the accounts page of an account by clicking the bell icon.

Improved mobile usability — We have made a few improvements in terms of readability on mobile devices for example the title of tables is now displayed.

Babylon 2.0.1 Compatability

Besides ensuring that tezblock and Conseil is compatible with Babylon 2.0.1 we’re adding the above mentioned missing features. The initial focus is on the rewards which also change with the Babylon upgrade as a new reward structure for blocks is introduced. block_reward / (p + 1) * (0.8 + 0.2 * e / 32) where p = baked block priorityand e = number of included endorsements. For example:

We’ve been working on providing the rewards in tezblock and should be able to publish a version shortly.
