What is new in AirGap Vault & Wallet 2.0.0
Version 2.0.0 brings many great features: an overhaul to token handling, improved usability for tokens, a better transaction flow and support for Tezos kt address import and generation.
With the version 2.0.0 we’ve prepared AirGap Vault & Wallet to bring more token support in the future for Ethereum, æterntiy and Tezos as well as a preparation for more Tezos and æterntiy features.
Tezos kt address import & generation
After the initial support for Tezos tz addresses, now the extended Tezos account management with kt address import & generation is supported in the AirGap Wallet application. Providing the next building block for delegation and other operations.
Improved token support
The initially supported æterntiy ERC20 token had to be generated with AirGap Vault and synced to AirGap Wallet. Now you’re able to directly add more tokens in AirGap Wallet as soon as an Ethereum address has been synced from AirGap Vault, which simplifies the whole process immensely and improves usability.
Better transaction handling
Many improvements have been made in terms of how AirGap Vault & Wallet communicate with each other. Now a selection can be made if both applications live on the same device or if Vault is on an offline device. Only relevant information to the selection will be displayed and the same device approach has also been sped up.
And many more features to come..
