Last few weeks have been pretty upbeat at Airim, with us passing the GDPR test (turns out we didn’t have anything major to worry about) and the engineering teams deploying new features with a totally new set of code.

You might have noticed a lot of rough edges weeded out in the past few weeks. Performance issues are virtually non-existent now and logging in would have shown you several new features.

1. New colors in Live Chat

We quietly rolled out a new feature in Live Chat. We were informed by two Product Managers that in their companies, multiple agents were often trying to chat with the same customer, thus reducing the team’s efficiency.

So we created three different colors to be shown to agents during a customer conversation.

Red, Amber Green — New Live Chat feature in Airim

Green means that the customer / visitor is online, but not chatting with any Agent right now.

Amber means that the customer / visitor is online and has requested to chat with an Agent but hasn’t received a reply.

Red means that the customer / visitor is chatting with another agent.

2. Airim on Zapier

Developers have always loved the way Airim API syncs with every SaaS product imaginable. We have now taken it a notch further by listing Airim in https://zapier.com/apps

You can now find Airim here :)

Still prefer webhooks? Here’s how to integrate them the most popular way.

3. Airim on Wordpress

Several websites using Airim have been built on Wordpress. Hence, a plugin was obviously the most demanded feature. We are glad to have listed the plugin on Wordpress Plugin Directory and looking forward to good reviews there.

4. Pixel

Several websites using Airim used to take their new users to a different subdomain to sign up. Also, majority of the websites did not want to show the widget on their sign up / sign in form. This made sense, but made it impossible to track user journey.

Enter Airim pixel. We created a small line of code that could be added to any page, without affecting the page load time and compromising data security.

This has been adopted faster than we thought, and high traffic websites around the globe are using Airim Pixel for attribution and more accurate analytics.
