Patios in Charlottetown, PE

Downtown Charlottetown has many patio options, and thanks to restaurants who’ve adapted to today’s health regulations, we can still have our patio season! Here’s a few awesome spots you have to check out before the summer ends.

Casa Mia

131 Queen St
For starters, let’s just take a moment to recognize Casa Mia’s chic interior. Inside, you can admire what’s going on behind the bar counter where drinks and desserts are prepared as well as the unique, cosmopolitan decor throughout the restaurant. Casa Mia’s patio lets you enjoy the best of Charlottetown’s urban atmosphere while you eat as it’s situated across the street from PEI’s famous Confederation Centre for the Arts. If you’re into urban and artistic culture, Casa Mia’s patio is the place to be.

Fishbones Oyster Bar & Grill

136 Richmond St
Located on Victoria Row directly across the street from TD’s “Always On Stage” live performance area is the Fishbones patio. Stop in for some fresh oysters, a Finding Nemo Fish Bowl and let yourself be taken away by the sound of local musicians serenading the entire block.

Sims Corner Steakhouse & Oyster Bar

86 Queen St
The sidewalk patio at Sims has cushioned seating so you can dine in a more relaxed way. They’re known for being PEI’s first authentic steakhouse and for using only beef raised on PEI. They also age and butcher their steaks in-house to guarantee the best steakhouse experience. Order a nice wine, get cozy on the patio furniture and prepare for one of Charlottetown’s finest dining experiences.
Hours: Sunday to Thursday 11:30am — 9:00pm, Friday & Saturday 11:30am — 10:00pm
Phone Number: 902–894–7567

Lunchtime is a great time to check out one of these patios, but remember to be prepared because the sun is at its highest around this time. Protect yourself from overexposure with sunblock, icy cold drinks, shade and your favourite pair of sunglasses.
