Welcome to the team, Pete!

Pete is thrilled to be returning home to California after an extended stay in the Chicago area. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in computer science, both from Northwestern, and loves helping teams and companies change the way they work through beautiful software.

Prior to Airtable, Pete worked at McKinsey & Company in Chicago, guiding prominent health organizations through dramatic shifts in how they use technology. He also led the expansion of the Asian/Asian-American affinity network to McKinsey’s Chicago and Midwest offices.

Outside of Airtable, Pete helps lead Elixir Labs, a nonprofit that builds tech solutions for other nonprofits. He also loves reading assorted nonfiction off the NYTimes Notable Books list.

Additionally, while he’s currently taking a break from booking more travel, he loves traveling alone — his most favorite solo trip was his first one to Japan, where he blitzed across the country by train and gained a profound appreciation for destinations shaped by religion.
