Georgian Digital Economy Association held a press conference where their plans were announced
On June 12th, 2018 in Radisson Blu Iveria there was taking place the press-conference about founding DEAG . Association clearly explained its goals and interpreted that their interests are based on Blockchain technology and in addition to this, they want a government to regulate this technology the right way. On the press-conference they reviewed issues about Georgian market and economy. That there is no capital market in Georgia and that there is consumered-based and non-productive economy which is the reason of economic hardship. Also they argued about ways of fixing up-mentioned problems and discussed what should the government do to “help” business and the whole population.

DEAG association has clearly formulated its aims and objectives which considers developing business-culture , supporting and stimulating business-environment , creating investment platform, supporting development capital market , integration different systems with blockchain technologies and with this goal, collaboration with the government and/or private structures , basing digital way of paying with crypto actives and crypto currencies; elaboration specific legislative initiatives and representing innovative projects.
2.1. Objectives of association :
· To promote digital education and basic educational system
· To support and stimulate business-environment
· To popularize and support Blockchain and digital technologies
· To develop digital business-culture
· To protect and demonstrate association members’ interests in the government agencies and also in the international arena
· To integrate different systems with blockchain Technologies and with this goal, to collaborate with the government and/or private structures
· To present Georgia as a favourable country for crypto-investments
· To elaborate politics for liberal regulations and administration of Georgian digital technologies and ICOs (coins/primary suggestion tokens ) which will help forthcoming of foreign capital in Georgia (?)
· To promote development of capital market in Georgia
· To promote improvement of business-environments in Georgia
· To help developing business-ideas and finding investments for local companies and startupers; for acheaving this, to create investment platforms and elaborate legislative invetments
· To elaborate legislative investments about digital Technologies, blockchain , ICO regulations and businesses connected to them.
· To find legal ways of invest digital actives (coins, tokens) in Georgian economy and to elaborate projects of legislative decisions
· To prepare crypto-free industrial zone
· To help basing digital way of paying with crypto actives and crypto currencies and to elaborate legislative initatives for this issue
· To help collaboration with association members and companies working in Georgian blockchain , crypto active, ICO spaces, also to support scientific-technic connections between analogic assosiations of foreign countries and local companies
· To communicate with international experts and specialists in digital technologies and to share their experience with interested ones
· To organize conferences and seminars in addition to implanting blockchain and digital technologies
· To make digital technologies to take active part in international conferences
