It is said that the happiest of couples don’t have the same character, they just have the best understanding of their differences. The heart-warming story of how a free-spirited extrovert Ayesha fell head over heels in love with a shy and reserved Nouman proves that love is all about embracing the differences.

Ayesha was looking for something serious but wasn’t satisfied with the kind of proposals that were coming her way so she decided to give Aisle a try. Nouman, on the other hand, heard about Aisle from a friend who had found love through the app. In 2018, Nouman sent Ayesha an Invite but she couldn’t reply immediately because of a health emergency in her family. “I saw his Invite much later but I clearly remember his message was just a ‘Hi’. Who would have thought a simple hi would lead to a million things and bring us where we are today,” recalls Ayesha.

Once they started talking, their conversations were about each other, their families and life in general. “His first question to me was about my work and what I like doing, unlike the usual questions a girl is asked. Even though he comes from a conservative background he is very open-minded. This is what I like the most about him.” says Ayesha.

Two months later, Nouman came all the way from Bihar to Banglore just to meet Ayesha. She picked him up from the airport and drove him around the city for hours. The next day they went to Nouman’s friend’s place and spent the day playing games. For Ayesha, this trip sealed the deal and she knew she had found The One.

Given Nouman’s nature, I knew he was confident about us but won’t be able to express his feelings. So I decided to make the first move and express my feelings to him. Later we told our families and everything fell into place and we decided to get married,” says Ayesha. The couple tied the knot on 14th November 2019, which is the same date that the couple had met for the first time one year ago.

Talking about life post marriage and how they manage to strike a balance despite the stark difference in personalities, Ayesha says “It has been 4 months but it still doesn’t feel like we are married. We are completely different people and so are our choices. I mingle with people and make friends easily. Nouman, on the other hand, is a little shy and reserved. But one thing that we have in common is that we don’t compromise if we don’t like something.

Nouman is currently in Denmark and Ayesha will soon be moving there too. “Our respective work-related commitments kept us occupied after our wedding so we could not travel anywhere together. Both of us love mountains and we are looking forward to adventurous trekking trips together soon,” quips Ayesha.

I never thought that life will hit so hard and touch my soul. People talk about meeting their soulmates but I never believed in stuff like that until I met Nouman. He went from being a complete stranger to my other half and now my soul mate” adds Ayesha.

Aisle wishes Ayesha and Nouman a lifetime of happiness, together.
