Yogita & Sandeep

“We are poles apart! “ he says fondly.

“We lived in two opposite ends of the world when we started off” he says ruefully.

But that didn’t stop this couple from falling in love. What they say about opposites in love is indeed true because here is a couple that is different and so modern in their outlook that they may just be the exemplary couple of the modern era!

When Sandeep saw Yogita on Aisle, there was something captivating about her. Here was a woman he’d imagined to be the kind of person he knew he’d fall in love with. Fiercely independent, modern yet grounded, and beautiful. He sent her an invite.

Yogita, who had gone down the traditional route spending time explaining to her parents for a long time, how the typical online matrimonial sites were not something that she was comfortable with, had just joined Aisle a few days before Sandeep sent the invite. When she received Sandeep’s invite, she felt here was someone she would definitely want to get to know better.

Right from the time Yogita accepted his invite, they were an instant match. They spoke long hours and got to know each other quite well. They spoke, laughed, and fell in love, despite a 9 hour time difference!

They are a couple that has different tastes in all things and different interests. Their careers are so vastly different from each others and yet these are the things they love! The fact that they have a distinct life of their own despite it being entangled in each others. They both love travelling and have together decided to check off a lot of activities and destinations off their bucket lists.

This fun couple decided to make their first meeting a rather unconventional one. However, destiny had other things planned and soon enough, Sandeep found himself flying to Sydney (where Yogita was working). Even though Sandeep was there only for a brief project, he made sure he spent enough time with Yogita to make up for the lost opportunity. And just like wine and cheese, the pair was amazing together. They did a good amount of travelling together in Australia, along side getting to know each other first hand.

“There was nothing that was awkward, we had spoken so much already that meeting her for the first time did not feel strange!”, he remembers.

And so splendid was the time they spent together that while Sandeep was on his way back to Bangalore, Yogita decided to let her parents know about him. Shortly afterwards, Sandeep informed his folks too.

“It was happening too soon, but I couldn’t wait!” she said gleefully.

Earlier this year, Yogita flew down to facilitate the parents meeting. And as luck would have it, the parents were so happy to have met, that the shift from small talk to “let’s get them married” was quite quick! Then what do you know, the rest is history!

This gorgeous couple became man and wife on August 29th, 2016 and have been living happily ever since!
