AIS Novations. Who we are

AIS Novations is an international software company with a main development center in Belarus. We’ve been developing complex web and mobile solutions, providing web design services, business automation and system integration for 11 years. We adapt technologies to our customers’ business. Our core development team consists of Middle and Senior developers with more than 3 years’ experience.

AIS History

2008–2009

AIS company started as a creative agency. Our aim was to develop non-standard web solutions in the field of visualization and software development. We worked with belarusian customers and started our cooperation with european and american clients. Our expertise at that moment included HTML, CSS, Javascript and .NET.

2010–2013

We started developing our own web services and automating offline business. We gained expertise in SEO promotion and lead generation. We formed a Node.js team, which has become one of our core departments. The number of employees grew to 50 people.

2014–2017

We concentrated on the development of complex projects and our own products, began to work with customers from the US, Europe and Australia, opened representative offices in Salt Lake City, Texas, Chicago, New York, Poland and Lithuania. We started game development and opened a training center for computer graphics and game dev.

2018

We opened two more offices in Belarus. Our team grew to 80 people. We started to work with popular technologies: Blockchain, IoT, AI, neural networks, AMP, chatbots and etc.

2019

Now AIS Novations is a team of more than 130 people. We have 9 departments: Development, QA, Web Design, Business Analytics, Marketing, Accounting, PM, HR and Sales. We are residents of the Belarus High-Tech Park, an analogue of Silicon Valley. We work with customers from the USA, Central and Eastern Europe, Australia and the CIS.

How we work

We provide full-cycle development and support to our clients from the very beginning (wireframes/sketches, design) to the end of the project (coding, testing, further maintenance).

Development Logistics

We use Git for tracking code changes, Jira for task tracking, for development demonstration and integration we use a demo instance which is connected to continuous integration system (usually Jenkins). We use different code syntax checkers, and unit testing where needed.

Testing Logistics

We keep user cases, scenarios etc. in TestRail which is integrated with Jira, so we can highlight how test fail is connected to a task and maintain the correlation. We also offer both manual and automated QA.

Deployment Logistics

We setup everything on cloud providers (AWS, GCP or Azure) with Docker containers. As of standard 3 instance sets are setup: dev, staging and production. All instances are connected to CI via a Jenkins container which pull automatically data changes from a Git repo and builds it from specific branches AWS.

Hosting

We have been using AWS hosting for more than 5 years. Not all services were used, but many of the popular ones like: EC2, SES, RDS, S3, Glacier, Elastic Container.
