Any civilization develops owing to knowledge, and it is endless. It was this understanding that appeared to be the main condition for progress. Therefore, the position of our Institute is that it is impossible to reach the limits in mastering new knowledge. In modern society, almost everyone can read and write, literacy is considered the foundation, on which further development of a person is built. However, there are two important clarifications to this statement.
First, the volume of knowledge is more than great now, knowledge has become more complex and it changes more frequently, and this applies even to fundamental theories. Second, a modern person is radically different from a person of the past due to his/her second brain (exocortex); and we must learn to use it correctly. Everyone has gadgets, but this does not mean that we have managed to increase our productivity or adapt to the new world.
The world needs reforms of literacy and fundamental education. Literacy will help a person learn faster, improve him- or herself, and education helps to solve new problems. The new literacy should base on a student’s practices (or the ability to learn), combined with a personal exocortex: thinking through writing or modeling, personal strategizing, investing time, managing the social environment, and others. Our Institute offers a new fundamental program of 16 intellect-stack transdisciplines: engineering, methodology, rhetoric, ethics, aesthetics, research, rationality, logic, algorithmics, ontologics, concept theory, physics, mathematics, semantics, self-development, conceptology.
The ability to learn quickly will allow you to master the transdisciplines of the intellect-stack faster and better, and this will help you correctly choose and quickly master applied practices and knowledge.
Gradually, humanity will increase the average level of literacy, at least owing to those who were able to break through to the frontier. However, it is conscious increase in the standard of universal literacy that will allow to educate the masses and quickly increase the number of people who are able to master the intellect-stack and, thereby, to advance science. Our Institute wants to become a part of the global system that will form and implement new standards. We believe that changing the world for the better is possible if there are more smart people in it.
